When Val Senales is covered in a thick blanket of snow, an excursion on foot starts as soon as you leave the lodge. For sports lovers, you can explore the forest and Alpine huts of the Ötztal Alps of South Tyrol, even with snowshoes. As early as October the ski slopes on the Val Senales glacier, which can be reached in just a few minutes, offer a gentle descent down the pistes of the glacier of South Tyrol. Many national teams of Nordic sports come here in the autumn to train for cross-country skiing.
In winter, there are 35 kilometres of pistes suitable for beginners and experienced skiers. It is the ideal location for a holiday with children, thanks to the clearly marked pistes and the friendly ski school. Not to mention the sledging piste of over three kilometres and the funpark for snowboarders.
